The video clips presented on this site are actual wedding videos spanning over the last 8 years. My philosophy is to present work to clients from a wide selection of work over time, rather than view the latest wedding or some specially prepared demo video that may not accurately represent what my clients can expect when they have me shoot and edit their wedding video.
These video clips represent actual Highlight Videos and Recap Videos.
Highlight Videos are a short, artistic representation of the longer full length documentary. Typically the ceremony is presented in a romantic style and underscored with music to illuminate the video footage. Highlight videos are really designed to present the entire wedding day in a short 15 minute format that is perfect for entertaining friends when you want to share your wedding video.
Recap videos are used to add closure to the video. These romantic pieces consist of carefully selected scenes that are carefully integrated, together with music, to set a mood of reflection and closure.
The video clips presented here are in "Windows Media Format" (wma. files).
Notes about Streaming Video
Streaming video has limitations due to the huge amount of video compression required and the data rate required. The quality and speed of your connection will have an effect on the video quality you see. This is for simple demonstration purposes only and does not represent the actual quality of video on DVD.
You have two options, you may view the video immediately via streaming media or download the Windows Media file to a folder on your computer. To view streaming media a DSL connection or better is required. Dial up is just out of the question for streaming anything worth watching so those of us on "dial-up" will have to download the files.
The streaming media files play at 100KB/Sec. I also provide 256 KB/sec files for downloading and those on a T1 connection. For dial up connections, I would recommend downloading the 100kb files and play them from your hard drive. To download files, simply "right click" and click "save as".
High speed and DSL connections should be able to download the 256 kb files in a reasonable amount of time and the viewing experience will be worth the wait. - "right click" the link to the file an choose "save as" or "save target".
